Product Operation FAQs

How to Start Charging

Always start the charging session using the method recommended by your car manufacturer.

1. Connect to power: Plug the charger input cable to the outlet/socket. Ensure the socket is compatible with national standards and in good working order. The charger will power on.

2. Set charging current: Use the button  on the control box to cycle through and select the desired current (e.g., 8A, 10A, 13A, 16A, 32A). Avoid setting the charger current to more than 80% of the maximum circuit rating you are connecting to

3. Connect to vehicle: Remove the dust cap, insert the Type 2 connector into your vehicle's AC charging port. Ensure the connector is inserted firmly in place and secure.

If the charging connector connects successfully to the car, the LCD screen will display the 'connected icon' and the LED status light will start to flashing green.

4. Charging begins: Charging will start automatically. A lightning icon next to the current setting will display and the LED status light will start flashing blue.

5. Charging Complete: When the charger completes the charging session and your vehicle battery to full capacity, the charger will automatically stop charging and the LED status light will remain on blue.

How to Stop Charging

Always stop the charging session using the method recommended by your car manufacturer. The below is a general guide only.

1. Unlock the Connector from the vehicle: The cable may be locked to the vehicle, so you will need to tell the car to unlock it before you can unplug the connector – use the correct method for your car.

2. Unplug the connector: Gently pull the connector handle out of the vehicle’s charging socket. Be sure to grip the handle, not the cable itself, to avoid damaging the connectors.

3. Disconnect the charger: Switch off at the socket/outlet.

4.  Store: Place the dust cap back on the connector. Place the charger and cable neatly in its designated place (or in the storage bag) to prevent damage or tripping hazards.
