If required, you can 'dial down' the output current/power to match the maximum power available from the circuit you are connecting to. Electrical safety codes require the continuous current draw to be limited to 80% of the circuit breaker's rating. Set the chargers output power to prevent overloads and circuit breakers tripping.
Different circuits have different power ratings. Whether you are charging at home, a friends place or on the road you you can adjust the chargers output power to match the circuit you are connecting on and charge at maximum speed.
Charging at a slower, steadier current (lower current) generates less heat, which is gentler on your vehicles battery and contributes to long-term battery health and longevity. Frequent DC fast charging at high currents shortens battery life.
Charge at a lower output current/power during the day and at a higher output when electricity rates/tariffs are lower.
